Juan turned the big two five yesterday! Half way to fifty, babe! I skipped stayed home sick from school and made everyone breakfast... this is kind of a big deal since the usual Martinez breakfast consists of coffee and cereal or a breakfast bar. Yesterday's menu consisted of Dutch Honey Peach French Toast, fruit cones, and snickerdoodle cupcakes. Holy sugar overload.
In the afternoon we took our birthday boy to Adventure Landing. It was such a yucky day outside, but we made the most of it! Thank goodness these kids men are easily entertained.
The weekend is almost here! My mom andgrandma Peach are coming to visit tomorrow- and yes, I call my grandma Peaches. But that's a story for another day...
So, I've been thinking about strollers... a day in the life of a mommy. Ours is pretty great, in fact, I would go as far as saying it's one of the best options out there. We have the BOB Revolution SE. We've been asked several times how we like it- and the answer is always the same, we love it! It's great for jogging, especially on trails or rough terrain, it has incredible shock absorbers- which allows me to bounce Austin when he gets antsy, and not to mention, it just looks so incredibly bad ass. But lately, I've been buying into the hype about the new 4moms Origami Stroller... always want what ya can't have, right? And Lord knows we can't have an 850 dollar stroller anytime soon. Maybe baby number 2? But seriously, this thing is awesome. And I'm starting to believe it's totally worth the 850 dollars. Humor me for a second.
This thing has:
1. Power folding- at the touch of a button!
2. Daytime and Nighttime Pathway Lights
3. LCD Dash
4. TONS of storage! Including cup holder and removable storage bag
5. Cell Phone charger... come on, you know you're dying over this now...
6. Self charging! It charges when the wheels turn!
7. And lastly, accessories. Colored pads for either your little prince or princess. I can't get over the hot pink seat pad. Swoon.
Still not convinced? Well, I am.
But, back to reality and our own amazing stroller... these stroller accessories make Austin's wheels just what we need for the time being.
one. two. three. four. five. six. seven.

yes, it's much better than the one we had originally from babies r us... I guess you can't expect too much from an infant-safe battery operated fan though... :P
